An independent curriculum is an independent learning system that can be understood as freedom to think and work, as well as appreciate or respond to changes that occur. This aims to give students the freedom to organize and develop their own way of learning independently. Research Method This article is qualitative research with a literature review type of research whose main sources are books, journals and other scientific articles. The data collected was then analyzed using the content analysis method to identify the main ideas from the various sources used. This research aims to find a solution to the problem of implementing the independent learning curriculum in PAI learning at school. Some of the problems experienced by teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum include lack of experience in independent learning, lack of adequate competence, limited access to learning, time management, lack of supporting media, and limited mastery of information technology by teachers. Solutions related to the problems above have been answered in this article, namely expanding knowledge regarding learning methods, attending internal and external workshops and sharing with fellow educators.
