Abstract

This study investigates the contribution of the Al-Qur'an Education Institution (TPA) Imadul Iman in strengthening religious education among children in Jl. Ikan Bandeng, Dataran Tinggi Village, East Binjai. The research utilizes a mixed-methods approach, integrating both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. Quantitative data were gathered through structured questionnaires administered to parents and community members, while qualitative data were obtained through interviews with educators, parents, and religious leaders. The findings reveal that TPA Imadul Iman plays a significant role in shaping children's moral behavior, increasing religious literacy, and fostering social cohesion in the local community. Educational programs focus on Qur’anic memorization, daily prayer practices, and Islamic character education. The institution also collaborates with families and community leaders to instill consistent religious values. This study underscores the importance of community-based Islamic education institutions as strategic partners in the national character development agenda. Recommendations include policy support, curriculum enhancement, and sustainable collaboration among stakeholders.
