MANAJEMEN DANA MIKRO, KARAKTERISTIK DANA MIKRO, SEGMENTASI PASAR DANA MIKRO
Abstract
This study aims to analyze microfinance management, identify its characteristics, and evaluate the target market segmentation of microfinance services. Microfinance is a form of small-scale financing aimed at low-income communities and micro-enterprises that do not have access to conventional banking services. In practice, microfinance management requires a different approach than traditional financial institutions, particularly in terms of risk mitigation, fund disbursement methods, and monitoring of customer fund use. Characteristics of microfinance include small loan amounts, short tenors, relaxed collateral requirements, and a community-based approach. Meanwhile, microfinance market segmentation is more focused on poor and vulnerable groups, MSMEs, and local communities with entrepreneurial potential but limited access to capital. Through a deeper understanding of microfinance management, characteristics, and market segmentation, it is hoped that more effective and inclusive strategies can be developed to support people-based economic growth.
