Abstract

Learning outcome evaluation is an essential component of the educational process because it functions to assess the achievement of learning objectives and serves as a basis for improving instructional practices. This article aims to comprehensively examine the forms and techniques of learning outcome evaluation, including test and non-test techniques, along with their strengths and limitations. The research method employed is a library research approach by analyzing relevant books and scholarly journal articles. The findings indicate that effective evaluation cannot rely on a single method; instead, it requires a combination of various evaluation forms and techniques to obtain a holistic, valid, and accurate picture of student learning outcomes. Therefore, educators are required to be capable of selecting and integrating appropriate evaluation techniques in accordance with learning objectives and learner characteristics.
