Abstract

Evaluation instruments are an important component in the research and learning process because they function to measure goal achievement objectively and accurately. Therefore, the instruments used must meet valid and reliable criteria so that the data produced can be scientifically justified. This research aims to analyze the validity and reliability of the evaluation instruments used in the measurement process. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through testing instruments on the respondents concerned. The validity of the instrument is analyzed using content validity and empirical validity tests, while the reliability of the instrument is tested with a reliability coefficient using a formula appropriate to the type of instrument. The research results show that most of the instrument items have a good level of validity and meet the eligibility criteria, and the instrument as a whole shows a high level of reliability. Thus, the evaluation instrument tested can be used as a consistent and reliable measuring tool in the evaluation process. It is hoped that this research can become a reference in developing and testing quality evaluation instruments.
